Let’s take a look at the results of a few campaigns that I wrote in the last couple years.
Keep in mind: The average open rate for emails is between 15-25%. The average click rate is 2.5%. If my copy hits those numbers, I’m at least doing okay.
Now, take a look at some of these campaigns…
My campaigns have come in anywhere between 3-5 times the average rate.
What happens when your engagement rates go up like this?
- You are likely going to make more sales. More engagement means more eyeballs on your product.
- You can spend less money on your marketing. Growing a list is much more expensive than engaging with your current list. If you can increase engagement, you don’t have to be so aggressive about building your list. The quality of your email marketing isn’t contingent on the size of your list, but the level of engagement you have with them.
- Your marketing will get better. The more engagement you have with your audience, the more you will learn about them – how they behave, how they react to different offers and messages, and so on. This makes your marketing more cost-effective… and profitable.
Now, these numbers aren’t an accident. They are the result of months of consistent email campaigns designed to increase engagement across the board.
That’s what you need. Let’s work together and build some campaigns that will drive up your engagement rates, too.
