Does your content convert?

There's never been a better time to focus on content.
Marketing is a weird game in 2020.
Make no mistake, the modern Web has created dozens of different ways you can market your business – and affordably! From blogs to podcasts to search engines to Facebook Ads… the opportunities are (almost) endless.
But unfortunately, this means there are a lot of businesses who are targeting the wrong avenues, trying to build their brands ineffectively, hiring the wrong people, and throwing their money away – with little to show for it.
If you want to grow your business in 2020 without wasting a ton of money or time, you MUST:
- Build a focused audience from your target market…
- Show up on their radar regularly…
- …and remove all roadblocks so that doing business with you becomes a no-brainer for them.
And whether you want to believe it or not, that’s why email and content marketing should be the foundation of your strategy this year.
Do you doubt that? Think that your Instagram or Facebook following is more important?
Consider this: 60% of consumers subscribe to a brand’s email list, compared to only 20% of consumers who follow their brands on social media… and the ROI on email marketing is a stunning 4,400%.
No, that’s not a typo. People want content that brings value to them on a regular basis, especially in their inboxes!
But to do it right, you have to do it consistently over time, meaning you have to carefully craft your emails and your blog content – and send/publish them often.
Between everything else you’re doing to build your brand, whether you are marketing to other businesses or marketing directly to consumers, you don’t have time to do content right.
And hey, that’s where I come in.
Why work with me?
My name is Tom Meitner, and I’ve been a direct response copywriter for over a decade now.
Notice: not just a “copywriter” – a direct response copywriter. For 13 years now, I’ve spent my working hours writing copy for clients designed to get a specific response.
No brand-building. No “awareness”. No clever jokes or anything like that (unless it helped).
There are a lot of copywriters out there trying to prove their worth with puns, playing around with the language in hopes of impressing somebody or winning an award.
I’m not that guy.
When I sit down to write, I’m interested in the same things you are: engagement, conversions, and most importantly, sales.
You’re not working on your marketing because you want your brand to look cool. You’re marketing so that you can make money. Period.
But I don’t expect you to just hire me based on the fact that I have been doing this for a while. What you need to know is that I’ve been doing this successfully for a while.
You can click on Results at the top of this page to jump right to it, but here are the highlights of what I’ve been able to do by building marketing campaigns centered around my clients’ email lists:
- Built more than $2 million in revenue off a single campaign
- Consistently beat the average email open rates and clickthrough rates (which means more eyeballs, and more sales for my clients)
- Generated more than $200,000 in a two-week period
- More than doubled engagement rates
Does any of that sound like something you would want for your business?
I can help you build a funnel of content that brings value to your audience. Then, we can engage with your email list, turning more of them into customers and clients, while being able to track every step along the way for maximum results.
Take a look…
Results

How a mainstream podcaster used my copy to more than double his email open rates…

Synergy made this client millions dollars.

Could you 4x your business with email?

One campaign I wrote made six figures, so we added a few more… and doubled our sales!
Clients
A good email copywriter knows how to use time-tested and numbers-driven strategies to increase engagement regardless of industry.
I’ve worked for health companies, investment research publishers, local marketing agencies, elite app developers, and more.
They all had the same goal: get results from their copy.
Services & Rates
I offer copy that is built on proven strategies and tactics that are designed to increase engagement and move your potential customer or client through your marketing funnel.
(That’s a fancy way of saying, “My copy helps you make money.”)
Because I’ve been doing this for so long, I know how to jump into any business relationship and get myself up to speed rather quickly, whether I’m tag-teaming a project with you, or working within a team to build the best possible campaign for your product or service.
Now, let’s talk about pricing.
- Price per individual email: $250 apiece
- Price per email, when ordering more than one: $200 apiece

About Tom

My name is Tom, and I’m a “words guy.”
Since the age of 4, I’ve loved words. I read, write, and consume more words than most people do in their daily lives.
That’s why I went to college for an English degree. But a funny thing happened while in college: nobody seemed to know how to help me write for a living.
One professor told me I could do “anything” with an English degree. Another told me to do it “for the love of the art, not for the money”… which is a great strategy unless you’re trying to pay rent with a short story.
While browsing the shelves at a bookstore during my junior year of college 15 years ago, I stumbled on The Well-Fed Writer by Peter Bowerman. The book opened my eyes to the world of copywriting, and I never looked back.
Over the years, I’ve generated multiple millions of dollars in revenue for my clients. Why? Because I’m different from other writers.
What makes me different? Get into a room full of writers, and you’ll notice a bunch of people trying to top each other with vocabularies nobody would use, and language designed to wow and impress people, rather than get the message across.
The reason I fell in love with direct response copy is because it is designed around results.
My job is not to make anybody happy, or to do something that I think should work.
No, my job is to watch numbers. It’s to monitor response rates. I’m not supposed to be clever. If I can be clever at the same time, great. But my #1 job is to drive engagement and sales.
In other words, the results of my job can be measured, which means I’m always held accountable for my work.
So when you work with me, you’ll know whether or not my copy helps you because the results will be there. I’m driven to improve those results so that you don’t waste your money on campaigns that don’t work.

When you book a 15-minute call with me, we’ll take a few minutes just to cover the basics:
- Your current goals: Improve your open/click rates? Build your email list? More conversions and sales? More phone calls to your sales team?
- Your current email/copy strategy: Let’s see how you’re doing and what we would need to do to improve it as quickly as possible.
- Your website: In many cases, an email campaign is going to drive traffic to your web site in some way, so let’s make sure you’re not losing revenue when they click.
- How I can save you time and money: My job is to take things off your plate, not add to them. That’s why we’ll work together to see how I can fit into your process and build a turnkey solution that will help you reach your goals without requiring more of your time.
